Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ClassTally (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

ClassTally helps fitness instructors track pay, payments, and tax estimates across multiple studios. The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes and does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Tax estimates are approximations — confirm your obligations with a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for working fitness professionals and is not directed to children; we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses magic links or a connected Google or Apple account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions and billing

ClassTally offers a free plan. If and when paid (Pro) plans are available to you, they are billed monthly or annually through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time and will keep Pro access through the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments for paid plans are non-refundable. If a feature is offered at no charge, no payment terms apply to it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, access it or other users' data without authorization, or use it to break the law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your data

You retain ownership of the data you enter. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can edit and delete individual records in the app, permanently delete your entire account from Settings, and export your tax-year data as a CSV; for a full export, contact us.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. When your account ends, your right to use the Service stops, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates and calculations will be accurate for your specific situation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassTally is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
